Adams Rite, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY company, has helped fenestration solutions provider Futuremost achieve PAS24 on its latest product offering.

Submitted to the ASSA ABLOY UKAS accredited test facility, the Futuremost commercial doorset developed with Adams Rite using Smart Systems section technology, successfully completed PAS24 enhanced security performance testing.

The Smart Systems, “Smart-Wall”, aluminium shop front screen and door system, which features polyamide thermal break technology for enhanced thermal performance, was tested with ES8000 V-locks from ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions company Trimec, along with the ARC51N concealed transom closer from Adams Rite.  This resulted in a heavy-duty single door system with electronic access control.

As an enhanced security standard, the PAS24 accreditation certifies that a door assembly can withstand a series of measured manual and mechanical tests simulating common methods of forced entry. Importantly, these tests are carried out on a complete doorset making the relationship between the Adams Rite’s hardware and Futuremost doors crucial.
